A team of 20 young cyclists form the Jingdezhen Ceramic College in East China's Jiangxi Province arrived at Mount Sanqingshan on 2May to express their support for the mountain's bid to be nominated as a UNESCO world natural heritage site this year.

The cyclists wore T-shirts inscribed with the words "A journey to the Mount Sanqingshan" on the back and tied flags of  "Mount Sanqingshan—a world heritage " on their bikes.

Li Gaoyang,captain of the team,said they knew from media reports that Mount Sanqingshan had been chosen as the national only candidate for the world natural heritage list next year and felt they should contribute something to the bid. "We love the mountain and we are telling everybody to take action to protect the mountain and the environment during our trip." he said.

Mount Sanqingshan ,a key national scenic spot and a national geopark ,is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province,and its highest peak reaches an altitude of 1,817m.
